Python Introduction

What is Python?

Many people use Python to write codes. Guido van Rossum made it and released it in 1991.

It is used for:

  1. software programming,
  2. web development (server-side),
  3. math,
  4. This category includes web development (server-side), math, and system scripting.

example:

Python is utilized in various fields such as web development (on the server side), software development, math, and system scripting.

What is Python useful for?

  1. You can use Python on a server to make web apps.
  2. You can use Python with other software to make workflows.
  3. Python can talk to database systems. Python can also open and modify files.
  4. You can use Python to work with massive data and do complicated computations.
  5. You can use Python to quickly make a prototype or to make software that is ready for production.

What is Python?

  1. You can use Python on various platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and more.
  2. The syntax of Python is easy to understand, just like English.
  3. The way Python is written lets programmers construct programs with fewer lines than some other languages.
  4. Python uses an interpreter system, which means that code can be run right after it is written. This means that making prototypes can be done relatively quickly.
  5. You can use Python in a procedural, object-oriented, or functional style.

It’s good to know

  1. In this tutorial, we will be using Python 3, the most recent major version of Python.
  2. This article will show you how to write Python in a text editor. You can write Python in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like Thonny, Pycharm, Netbeans, or Eclipse.
  3. These are very helpful for keeping track of many Python files.

The syntax of Python differs from that of other computer languages.

  1. Python was made to be easy to read, and it has certain things in common with English and arithmetic.
  2. In Python, new lines are used to finish a command, while in other programming languages, semicolons or parentheses are used.
  3. Python uses indentation, which is the space between lines, to specify the scope of things like loops, functions, and classes. For this purpose, other programming languages commonly utilize curly brackets.
